Choosing the right rug size.

A well-proportioned rug connects the furniture, creates calm and makes the room feel intentional. These measurements are starting points—we can make any exact size.

Living room

For a settled, generous look, keep at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs on the rug. In a large room, place all furniture fully on the rug and leave a consistent border of flooring visible.

Dining room

Allow enough rug beyond the table for chairs to remain on the rug when pulled out. Add approximately 24–30 inches on every side of the tabletop.

Bedroom

A rug beneath the bed should extend beyond both sides and the foot. For a lighter arrangement, use runners beside the bed or place a smaller rug beneath the lower two-thirds.
