A well-proportioned area rug connects the furniture, creates calm and makes the room feel intentional. These measurements are starting points—we can make any exact size.
For a settled, generous look, keep at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs on the rug. In a large room, place all furniture fully on the rug and leave a consistent border of flooring visible.
Common starting points · 6 × 9 ft · 8 × 10 ft · 9 × 12 ftAllow enough rug beyond the table for chairs to remain on the rug when pulled out. Add approximately 24–30 inches on every side of the tabletop.
Common starting points · 8 × 10 ft · 9 × 12 ft · 10 × 14 ftA rug beneath the bed should extend beyond both sides and the foot. For a lighter arrangement, use runners beside the bed or place a smaller rug beneath the lower two-thirds.

If a standard size leaves too much or too little floor visible, share a sketch, photograph or floor plan. We will recommend dimensions, proportion, construction and colour direction, then make the rug specifically for your space.
Order visibility
Once your finished rug has passed final inspection and is collected for shipment, we send the tracking number and tracking link by email or WhatsApp. You can then follow the order through FedEx or DHL until delivery.
